1. How long is the EMT class? - Typically, our programs last 8-10 weeks depending on the schedule.

2. Will I be required to complete hospital or field observation? - Observation time is not mandatory however, if you choose to do so, you must complete a minimum of 10 hours.

3. What happens after I finish the program. - First Response will coordinate the practical component of your State EMT exam. Once you successfully complete the practical exam, you will be notified to take your State written exam.

4. How old do I have to be to take an EMT class? - The only age requirement is that you must be 18 years old at the time of your State EMT exam.  You may take the class if you are not 18.
